This is more happy than my last blog, and shows the expansion of aviation in Vietnam. Many airlines are now emerging throughout the country, and traffic is becoming very heavy on their streets. It is boosting their economy, and giving the people more choices for airlines. It seems that commercial flying for Vietnam has benefited them, and from these emerging airlines brings competition. These airlines are also beginning to expand outside Asia, and beginning to travel to Europe and other far away lands. It is proving a form of transportation for their rising middle class, and benefiting the country overall on their economic agenda.
In light of the recent incident with Malaysian Flight MH370, this could prove to be a bubble boom for Vietnam. Passengers in this part of the world--indeed, everywhere--will likely be less enthusiastic about flying for some time.
ReplyDeleteHowever, if Vietnamian airlines are able to service other countries besides their own, they may be able to turn Malaysian Airlines's loss to their own profit: by touting themselves as a reliable carrier, they could pick up passengers who feel reluctant to fly with MA.
