3.) The helicopter was another technical marvel to emerge from the crucible of war. The idea of rising straight up into the air was not new. French experimenter Louis Brequets Gyrocopter, I was the first rotary wing machine to leave the ground with a pilot on board (1907) just a foot off the ground. And the development of the helicopter was taken on by other aviators, like Juan La Ciercva and Harold Pitcairn are some of the helicopter developers during the 1900’s. But there is one individual that has made drastic change in the development of the helicopter was Igor Ivan Sikorsky. Some of Sikorsky’s tactics were his move from multiple tail rotors on outriggers to a single rotor counteracting the torque of the main rotor was a major step toward the development of a practical helicopter. Throughout, many more years the helicopter developed into the jet-power helicopters.

7.) The new technology like computers has reshaped the way in which airplanes were designed as well. Traditionally, designers communicated through drawings. And with the creation of software program allowed a more advanced style of graphic design and processing. Lastly, the computer with the aerospace research dollars pouring into the coffers of American universities and corporations changed the way in which airplanes and a great many other things were manufactured. Computers also applied to the solution of a series of ground based aerospace problems from stimulations reality to protecting the nation from nuclear attack.

10.) I support the statement that aviation was the most important military technology since the invention of gunpowder because; aviation has opened a wider range of killing the enemy in such a quick yet impactful way. For example, flying over an area to drop a bomb can kill an entire section of a country like the Hiroshima bombing and this can be limited to kill of a large range of individuals with the just a gun.
